The Birmingham Chapter started with interfaith and peace activities in the mid 1990's even before UPF was inaugurated in 2005 featuring similar activities. Since 2005 there have been regular interfaith and peace programmes in addition to seminars presenting the UPF Principles of Peace.

Interfaith Service at Al Mahdi Institute, Birmingham
WFWP and UPF Birmingham's IAPD held an Interfaith Service at the Al Mahdi Institute on July 2nd. Leaders from various faiths and civic sectors in Birmingham and West Midlands, including police, city councillors, Imams, Christian Ministers, UK Namdhari Sikhs Secretary, Brahma Kumaris leader, and women leaders from Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania, participated.
